Payment Terms

Payment must be received at least ten (10) business days before class or within your invoice terms. If you register within ten business days of class, payment is due upon registration. If providing payment when you register is not convenient, you may provide a credit card to hold your registration and then process payment to us on the first day of class.

Credit Card Payments

If you are paying with a credit card, please be aware that your card will initially be pre-authorized for the amount shown in your shopping cart. Any corporate discounts will be applied before your card is charged. We do not collect or store your credit card information.

Day of Class

Please arrive or log in to class at least 20 minutes prior to your class start time. If you arrive or log in more than 30 minutes after your class start-time, you will not be admitted into class. If you repeat a class on a retake basis, please bring the courseware manual from your previous class, if applicable.

Remote Live Training

Tech Reformers offers the choice of In-person Live Instructor-led Training, Virtual Instructor-led Training (vILD), and On-demand virtual training. Virtual Instructor-led Training is taught online by a live trainer who will present information and respond to your questions and other students’ questions in real-time, perform demo’s, and cater to the needs of the needs to students during class and in labs.

If you have registered for a vILT class and are scheduled to attend from your home or office, you will receive an email describing the equipment and steps needed to connect online to your vILT class. Please review this email promptly and follow its instructions completely to confirm you will be ready to start class on time. If you have registered for a class and the location is Seattle, simply show up for the class at our Seattle training center at least 20 minutes before class with your laptop.

Free Class Retakes

After attending a full open enrollment course taught by Tech Reformers, you may retake that same course at no charge on a space-available basis for any reason whatsoever within 12 months. Your only cost would be the cost of new course materials if the courseware has been upgraded to a new version since you originally attended a class or associated lab fees if required. Retake privileges vary for some Specialty Classes and some classes delivered by Tech Reformers’ partners. Please contact your Account Executive for specifics.

Tech Reformers reserves the right to charge $100 for Training retakes when a trainee cancels outside our cancellation policies or are “no show” for classes.

Rescheduling or Cancelling Class Registration

Open Enrollment Classes —You may reschedule or cancel most open enrollment classes at no charge with at least ten (10) business days in advance with written notice. If you reschedule or cancel your class with less notice or “no show,” the full amount of your invoice must be paid. If you need to cancel, you have the option to either send a substitute student to your class or reschedule yourself into a future class at no additional cost on a space available retake basis for up to 12 months.

Open Enrollment Cisco Classes — You may reschedule or cancel open enrollment Cisco classes at no charge with at least sixteen (16) business days advance written notice. If you reschedule or cancel your Cisco class with less notice or “no show,” the full amount of your invoice must be paid. If you need to cancel, you have the option to either send a substitute student to your class or reschedule yourself into a future class at no additional cost on a space available retake basis for up to 6 months.

Private Classes, Customer On-Site, and Room Rentals — You may reschedule or cancel most Private Classes, Onsite or Room Rentals at no charge with at least ten (10) business days’ written notice before the start date of your class. If you reschedule or cancel your event within 6 to 10 business days in advance, notice you will be charged 50% of your invoice amount. If you reschedule or cancel your event with less than five business days’ advance notice, you will be charged 100% of your invoice amount.

Inclement Weather

We run virtual instructor-led classes even on the most severe weather days, and we run In-person live instructor-led at our Seattle location on all but the most severe weather days. To inquire if your class has been canceled or delayed due to inclement weather, please refer to the home page of our website at http://www.techreformers.com or call (206) 401-5530 ext. 0.

If we are open during difficult weather, travel is up to the discretion of the student.

Refunds

Tech Reformers guarantees that you will be satisfied with the training you receive from us. In the unlikely event your training does not meet your needs, we will offer you the option of a free class retake at no charge.

If you`re concerned that you might train an employee and then need to retrain that employee`s replacement if the employee leaves, we will retrain the employee`s replacement for free within one year of the original public class date. Your only cost would be the cost of materials required.

Purchase Expiration Dates

All Tech Reformers products and services must be used within twelve (12) months of the date of purchase.

Schedule Changes

Tech Reformers may change course prices or modify our schedule of courses at any time. All modifications that impact enrolled students will be communicated via email. If a course you have purchased and enrolled in becomes unavailable before your class date, you will receive your choice of a refund or credit for another class.

Intellectual Property – Courseware, Labs & Trainer Presentations

Training courseware, labs, and trainer presentations included in classes are licensed for the sole use of individual students enrolled in the class and are subject to copyright by Tech Reformers and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Training courseware, labs, and trainer presentations are the intellectual property of Tech Reformers and/or AWS and may not be duplicated, re-purposed, or distributed to others. Tech Reformers does not convey any ownership or interest in courseware, labs, or trainer presentations included in classes. Additional terms of use of intellectual property may be specified by Tech Reformers and/or AWS Training and Certification owning the intellectual property.
